Arrows Out

One priority we champion at Christ the King is written into our mission statement; “effectively reaching out to unchurched people with love, acceptance, and forgiveness”. This so eloquently states our heart as we reach out to kid’s in Kenya through groups like Rehema Ministries or New Generation Ministries which reaches out to the homeless and poor of Haiti with Christ’s love. Locally we have Club 52 (food collection for Salvation Army) and Mighty To Save which reaches out to young adults coming out of drug addictions.

Service Projects take on many forms; from repairing shelters and clearing trails at Washington Park to serving up meals with the folks at the Eagles at Thanksgiving. Our small groups are active in serving meals at the Brick to the hungry. Other small groups reach out to the community visiting the elderly at San Juan or Fidalgo Care facilities.

Those who serve our Town of Anacortes can always use help; the Salvation Army, Rice Bowl Ministries, CTK Care ministry, schools, the churches who serve meals, the thrift stores, the hospital or the library. Join the Anacortes Human Services Coalition. Join us we serve our community! For a total directory, go to:
